Welcome to the Gingerbread House

The quirky grade-two listed rural riverside country house, for company offsites, leadership offsites, team building, retreats, TV, Film & ad shoots, workshops, boutique events, family gatherings.

What

A Jacobean / Tudor style house, built in 1200s and extended in 1640 and the 1990s, and home to the friars that served the ruined Abbey along the Avon river in nearby Evesham. The house sits in 1.5 acres of rolling meadow garden. We’re situated on the north edge of the Cotswolds in the pretty county of Worcestershire.

Why

As a Creative Director at Instagram, I was lucky enough to attend some incredible offsites around the world. The Gingerbread House is our attempt to create a place like that… a beautiful, inspiring setting for small team offsites, family gatherings, creative retreats, and TV or advertising shoots.

Small Team Offsites & Creative Gatherings

The Gingerbread House is ideal for small groups… whether you’re planning a leadership offsite, creative retreat, family gathering, or a writing escape.

Example offsite itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrive & Reset

Late morning / lunchtime arrival - Teams arrive, settle into the house and gather around the large kitchen table for a relaxed lunch.

Afternoon strategy session - Use the library or dining space for a focused planning session, creative workshop or team discussion.

Late afternoon walk - Step outside for a walk through the countryside… often where the best conversations happen.

Evening - Cook together in the kitchen or bring in a local chef. Long dinner, good wine, and conversations that continue late into the evening.

Day 2 – Think Clearly

Morning - Coffee and breakfast together, followed by another work session while ideas are fresh.

Late morning break - Take time in the garden or short riverside walk to reset.

Final session - Wrap up key ideas, plans and next steps before departure.

Early afternoon - Lunch together before heading home.

Come to get away, learn, make new friends, gain a new skill or even transform your professional life.

I look forward to welcoming you whatever you might need the house for. The Gingerbread House loves people in it, so please get in touch if you’d like to use the house in any way.
